PICKPADI GLOBAL LTD
Privacy Policy
This draft explains how PICKPADI GLOBAL LTD may handle information when senders, recipients, riders, and fleet merchants use the PickPadi apps, fleet dashboard, and related services.
Draft date: 12 September 2026
1. Scope of this policy
This policy covers the PickPadi Customer app, Rider app, fleet merchant dashboard, support channels, and related operational services.
It applies to personal information processed in connection with delivery requests, rider matching, payments, escrow, verification, and platform security.
2. Information we collect
We may collect account and contact details, identity and business verification records (including CAC and government-issued identity data where required), delivery addresses and landmarks, parcel descriptions, payment references, device and usage data, and customer-support communications.
Location information may be collected while a delivery is active to enable rider matching, live route visibility, accurate ETAs, safety monitoring, and proof of service.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate on-demand deliveries, broadcast requests to nearby riders, verify participants, process wallet, escrow, and payout transactions, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, provide support, comply with legal obligations, and improve platform safety and performance.
We may generate aggregated or de-identified reporting that does not reasonably identify an individual.
4. Sharing and service providers
We may share the minimum necessary information with delivery participants (for example, a rider sees pickup details and a customer sees the assigned rider), identity and corporate-verification partners, banking and payment providers, mapping and telematics providers, insurers, support providers, and lawful authorities where required.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as needed for service delivery, dispute resolution, compliance, accounting, and safety purposes, after which it is deleted or de-identified where practicable.
We use administrative and technical safeguards — including access controls and encryption in transit — designed to prevent unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No system is perfectly secure; users should keep credentials and OTPs confidential.
6. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable Nigerian data protection law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of your personal information, or object to certain processing.
Some records must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, escrow, or transaction purposes even where deletion is requested.
7. Children
PickPadi services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; where identified, we will take steps to remove it.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as services or legal requirements change, with notice through the app or website where appropriate.
Privacy questions and requests should be sent through PickPadi's official support channel. The final privacy contact address must be inserted before publication.
